This genealogy of the Dunton (also Dunten) family begins with Samuel Dunton of England, who was born about 1620 and died in 1685. It traces fifteen generations and lists 2087 descendants who are directly linked to this family. Entries typically include birth and death dates and locations; marriage information; lists of offspring; and sometimes a biographical sketch. The Modified Register System is used to organize this genealogy (and is explained in the preface).
