I thought for one hot minute that his presence in the state of Georgia might have been a mistake for Georgia, Vermont (on Lake Champlain). Then I reread the message about where he was in the census records. Guess not! Funny how if you get information on enough people, even some of the least common names are bound to repeat. There is a moral here for all genealogists, I think. <big grin> BTW, I got sent to Vietnam by mistake, instead of being assigned to an instructor's post in General Supply, because another Darrell A. Martin in the same unit put in a transfer to go back to Southeast Asia and the Company Clerk messed up. (They ended up sending all three of us . . .)
