Hi Sheila, Just a note to reassure you that I am still around and okay. I only get a chance to log onto my e-mails about once a week if I'm lucky due to work and other commitments, however, I have been looking into things in the background. I have secured the use of a school minibus (17 seater - including the driver) for most of the week (not fridays) at a cost of a donation plus petrol (gas). Also, I'm looking into hotels in Cheshire to fit you all in (bearing in mind I still don't know who is definately coming) and trying to keep your costs to a minimum whilst maintaining a good standard of facilities. Also, I am trying to get a hotel that is of historical value and not something thrown together in the last decade or so. I am still waiting to hear from Charles Sherborne Dutton re hotels in the south of England nearer to London and Stoke Newington School to finalise an itinerary. I published a suggested itinerary a few weeks back but only had a few responses, do I take it that this is what people want or do you want something else out of the trip over to the UK? I realise that time is getting on and June will soon be upon us, but I am no nearer knowing when you all intend to come over. We can arrange the itinerary to fir into any week irrespective to hitting Mid-Summer's Day and I would like to arrange it to dates that suite the majority and not force people to go along with my suggestions. Could everyone that is hoping to come over please reply to this message and give me the best dates for your convenience. Please leave the reply open so that everyone gets to read it as it may help people to make up their minds if they see dates duplicated. I am really looking forward to meeting my overseas Cousins and I do hope that some of the Duttons over here will also respond and join in. This event may be a one off and may never happen again, but conversely, it may be the first of many meetings, not just in the UK but in several venues around the world, we are unique, let's lead the way. I also mooted my thoughts on collating and combining everyone's Dutton information and publishing is on a CD to be distributed amongst ourselves and any othet interested parties, what do you all think of this idea, could Mike handle this or do we have a Dutton out there with the time and energy to do it.
