Last weekend Carole Malisiak was requesting information on Thomas Dutton of Overton, Frodsham, Cheshire. As I live in Frodsham I thought that I should try to help. In the registers of St. Lawrence's Parish Church, Frodsham I found an entry dated 14 Dec 1606, baptism of "Thomas Dutton, fil Hugon'". I then searched for his parents. A Hugh Dutton was baptised on 5 July 1566. In June 1598 a Hugh Dutton married Dorothy Smith. Thomas Dutton of Overton was buried at Frodsham on 24 July 1653.
