Great find Carole. I didn't expect to find any data for that period. Did Hansen include the entire will in the article or did he state where it is? Given that Mary gave the bulk of her estate to John, I would think he was the oldest son. I have a birth date of 1647 for Thomas, but I don't know where I got it from. It's interesting that it mentions a 'shope'.
