    3. Hi, Phyllis, I read the message from Dick Dutton to Sheila Dutton concerning Isaac Dutton and more specifically, his father, Francis Dutton and his mother, Lydia Booth. According to the Cope book on page 54, Francis Dutton (No. 48) married as his second wife, a Lydia Booth, and they had two children: Francis (No. 114), a cooper Jacob (No. 115), a farmer Both Francis and Jacob probably resided in the neighborhood of Shepherdstown, Belmont County, Ohio. Cope further states that it has been said that there was another child, whose daughter was the wife of John Green of that place. Could the Isaac Dutton, born 23 Sep 1798, in Virginia, be the unknown third child of the Francis Dutton and Lydia Booth that is referred to in the Cope book in the last paragraph on page 54? It would certainly seem that he was one and the same. Jim Dutton
