Thanks Ed, I think what I have on my hands is a very elusive grandma. Since I started trying to trace down William and Julia Ann Dutton (my #G grandparents), I have found, in my own immediate family records (death certificates, marriage licenses, army records, etc), her referred to as Juliann King, Julia Ann Mathews, Julia Ann Latham, and Juliann Wells (on her gravestone - which turns out to be about 5 miles from where I was born and raised - and I wasn't even aware of that until a couple months ago), as well as Julia Ann Dutton. Ed has also given me evidence that she, after William died, married and became Julia Ann Voorhees and subsequently shows up on the Iowa 1860 census as Juli Ann Vomi. I think, that about all I know for sure is that she finished as Juliann Wells and was a Dutton somewhere in between. If anyone can clarify any of this, please let me know. Thanks. Ron
