Hi All, Yet another note on the above matter. I visited the agent who organised my USA holiday itinary, he booked the flights in/out, the flight LA to Vegas, my two hire cars and all of my Hotels for the three weeks that I was there with my wife and two sons (both paying full fare). The complete package which reserved family rooms (i.e. two queen sized beds) at each location came to around £1,100 per person - around $1,800 each. I asked him if he would be interested in putting together a package for 2K involving return flights from Chicago to Manchester with American Airways, ferry travel should we wish to visit Normandy, all hotels, coach travel and any other incidentals and he said yes, all I need to do is give him an idea of our planned itinary, how many places to book and he will work out a package price. No rush on this matter, 2K is a long way off, but I feel we need to put a date on replying information so that an idea can be gained. More people may become interested once a provisional price is known which would no doubt bring down the cost per person as hotels/travelling would benefit higher numbers. As a matter of interest, I have two e-mail addresses, one for home, the other for work and they are somewhat similar, that is why some of you (with eagle eyes) may have noticed that one e-mail has come from one address and another from the other address. I am currently having problems receiving mail at home, especially when large attachments are included, could I ask you to send any personal mail to both addresses so that I can be sure of receiving it, all other mails via the web come to both anyway. I am logged on to e-mail all day at work (mon-fri 08:00 - 17:00).
