Hi CAROL!! I just got back from OHIO. Thank you- thank you for the directions to Wyatt Cemetery! I did find it altho I was credulous at having to drive thru those peoples yard to do it!! They were out mowing the lawn and had closed the wooden gate. They waved....so I got out bravely....and opened it up and went on back in! I NEVER would have done that without your directions....and I would have missed a great cemetery!! Yes Isaac and Ann were there! Hooray! The mosquitoes hadn't seen a warm body since you were there....and they dived on me like KamiKaze pilots!! I took some quick pictures and then made a beeline back for my car......but I'm sorry to report....a couple of them feasted on me before I made it!! WOW. And did you know that the Olentangey River was right there at the edge of the cemetery? Wow. So thank you very much for your great help on that one! I also spent an afternoon at the Hist/Gen Soc. Library and the morning copying deeds at the courthouse. A very profitable visit. SO much has been happening on this list since I've been away...! How exciting.......I've been looking for Pa. John on a ship list too....and hadn't yet found Wm Penn's list.......so that was very interesting. .....and Colin made it safely back to England! Look forward to hearing more from him! And seeing some more pictures I believe he said he had! Your working thru the connection to William the Conq. was fascinating also. Good work girl!! So VERY interesting to read your sources and thought processes at trying to figure this all out. I gave it a quick try one day but didn't have time to pursue it much farther. Glad to see others trying to figure it out too. So it's been a busy summer for all of us.......glad it's almost September and we can all settle down and mull over what we found this summer. Phyllis---still a little brain dead from intense Ohio research! ps...sorry this has rambled on....I've just read about 10 Dutton digests all at once and I'm smiling!! What a great group!
