Hello to All, I have analyzed Lawson's Chart and Curt Rowe's data (which is from Leycester and Cope) but I'll just refer to it briefly as Rowe; thus, I have compared Lawson and Rowe from Odard to John of PA. To my great happiness and satisfaction, they agree with the exception of two wife's names. First discrepancy is in the XIII generation: Lawson reports that Sir Hugh Dutton married Margaret de Risley d/o Sir Hugh de Risley dsp. Rowe reports that he married Joann de Sancto. I wonder if this means that Hugh married twice? Second discrepancy is: Lawson reports John Dutton of Overton, Yeoman, married Ellin. Rowe reports that John Dutton (1625-1659) of Overton Twp, Cheshire, married Elizabeth Smith, b 1625. NOW, the question part. Does anybody know what these initials on Lawson's Chart represent? sln (I guess, slain), H. S., h.s., vbon 1, and Harl. M.S. Carole
