Dear Phyllis I have just been reading your e-mail to Colin about the proposed Dutton Re-union to Cheshire and E.Grinstead etc. and will be very keen to come along when details appear. I have been following the Dutton saga on the internet with great interest but have yet to make a contribution. I was born in Crewe, Cheshire (my name is John Anthony Dutton) but unfortunately I know very little of my Grandfather's relations. He was John Dutton and lived in Crewe and married a Miss Lamb, (I can find out her Christian name). There were three children, my father, Frank plus Stanley and Lillian; all are now deceased. I did a little research in the archives of the National Portrait Gallery in London some time ago.
