If it has the info and connects the generations it will be an important document. It may also provide leads regarding dates that could be verified by church registers, etc. Let's hope it does! Until there is some real data such as may be in your Bible to support the link between Thomas Dutton and John Dutton and then something to link John back to a specific location or set of dates or family connection in England, we are dealing with what is at best a guess.
