    3. David Dutton, a Quaker, was about 21 years old at the time of the Revolutionary War and on 10 Sept 1777 the bloody Battle of Brandywine took place in his neighborhood. Cope reports that David assisted in caring for the wounded and burying the dead. Here is a link to the Battle of Brandywine detailing the British and the Patriots parts in the battle. http://www.ushistory.org/march/phila/brandywine_1.htm I tried to borrow P. H. Lawson's genealogy from the LDS and found that the film was restricted and in so finding that, I also found that Lawson's work had been completed by 1930. Thus, I would think that he is no longer available to ask about his sources. I wonder if they also filmed his wills and other good documents? I need to re-document five generations!! Remember the person who claims to know the ancestors of MA John? I wonder how her work is coming along. It has been several months now. So close, but yet so far!! carole
