Pat Patterson wrote back almost immediately telling me that he has been having PC Problems and is now trying to get his genealogy program working. So, I am hoping to get a response from him. Often, web site owners do not respond to questions. Sorry about the abbreviations. NG is short for News Group and sgm is a short cut for the soc.genealogy.medieval newsgroup. Their archives are really good sources for information. I love archives and often read and research in them. I learn a lot that way, but I am still pretty ignorant compared to those folks!! NG archives can be searched at: http://www.deja.com/home_ps.shtml Choose "Results type: Deja Classic" Take care, Carole
