Hi everybody... I have received some e-mails requesting further clarification (thanks to all of you for your help). Here's everything I know: I am searching for information on my great-grandfather -- Raymond A. Dutton who was born in 1882 in St. Albans VT. My father recounted a story that to collect Social Security he had to get a number of signed affadavits attesting to his vitals since the St. Albans courthouse had burned down. He is also to have been reputed to be in a 3 way partnership of a New England regional circus! He died in Southbury CT in 1960. He married Dora M. Munson (b: 1885 d: 1962) and had 3 children - Ella (who had no issue), Kenneth (who is said to have had 7 children), and my grandmother, Florence (b: 1/18/1909 d: 4/7/1981).
