Hello Becky, I am not able to definitely connect your husbands DUTTON family line to the well established main tree from what I see below but if I can scrutinize the various data you found closely perhaps I might find a clue. Let me address some of your points individually. So far I havent found a definite connection but I do have some possible areas to look closer. ---------------------------------Snip------------------------------------ > The first group of 3 pages is titled "Duttons of Dutton" and is a > hand-drawn chart beginning with Ivron? and listing 6 sons-Nigel, Geffry, > Odard or Hudard, Edord(Edward), Horswin, and Wolfaith with a notation that > these 6 brothers accompanied their uncle Hugh Lupus into England in the > --ain of William the Conqueror their great-uncle. My records contain the Elizabeth DUTTON/John PULSIPHER family, both their parents and ancestors, and some of their descendents. This is an area we might want to look at closer. -----------------------------------Snip--------------------------------- > Someone also continued > these trees in pencil onto the back of the pages. I am going to acept your offer to send copies - please be sure to include these pencil additions and annotate which pages they are on the back of - unless you just copy them on the back of their original page. ---------------------------------Snip------------------------------------- > The next set of 10 pages is titled "The Duttons of New England" and appears > to be a compilation of a larger tree. Of coarse, I have I have MA Johns family but of interest I also have Bruce Allen DUTTON/Margaret HERRON with their 7 kids and DUTTON ancestors. -----------------------------------Snip----------------------------------- > The last page discusses an Orson Henry [Dutton?] divorcing Beth > and marrying Opal Smith, then divorces her and marries Vivian Aubrey Kirk. > He gets divorced and marries Josephine (unknown) in Canada and had a > daughter named Montana Josephine[Dutton]. I do have an Orson Henry DUTTON without any vital statistics, spouse, or descendents. I do have his parents and DUTTON ancestors. He probably would have been born 1900-1920. --------------------------------Snip-------------------------------------- > The next set of three pages is titled "The Dutton branch of the Austin > Family as compiled by Cort E. This is where my records are lacking. Sounds fair enough - just like my chart. Sign me up for all of the above. I assume I send the check to the same address I sent the chart? Dick Dutton Richard A. Dutton 325 Beal Parkway Ft.
