I'm back......forgot to provide you the film # for the Duttons of Dutton book. It has about 275 pages.......and is on film #0897484.1 You might be interested in another little goodie I found on SLC film also. # 1701095.2 It's called "The Genealogical Table of the descendants of Hugh de Dutton 11th to 16th century." I didn't have a clue what it was going to hold but I was ordering EVERYthing I could find on the Duttons back in the spring......no matter what!! Well, hang on to your hats, folks! It turned out to be another CHART! A different kind of chart......no text of any kind.....just a "tree chart" showing the various (hand-drawn) coat-of-arms belonging to the Duttons and the Warburtons etc. covering....as best I can count.....about 12 generations! JUST drawings of arms....and names of their owners done in calligraphy!! (no red rooster, though......aw shucks!) The whole thing was filmed on about 6 or 7 pages, as I recall.....all of which I copied off and had to tape together. It also was done as a NEGATIVE on this film.....so that the background is all black and the arms are drawn in white. Just what we need, right? Another CHART! <grin> But this one is unique....and quite interesting. I've no time today.....but early next week, I could try scanning it in four pieces that you'd have to piece together.......IF you're interested. (I don't think I'd have any trouble scanning a black background - won't know till I try it! Hoping my scanner can turn it into a positive image!) But be patient....I'll work on it early in the week......before I head for Philadelphia and Delaware Co. ......and "Dutton Land" on Friday!! Phyllis....getting very excited!
