    3. Hi Ron - You've received several other replies to your question... but let me add my two cents worth. I saw a copy of that book -- on microfilm -- that I borrowed from the library in Salt Lake. That would be an inexpensive way for you to see it before you decide to buy it. I really loved it. It gives details on many of the Dutton family stories....about the young Dutton boy who was killed on his wedding day.....about the two duels fought by Dutton relations.....copies of letters both to and from King Henry the Eighth about the dispute over Dutton lands.......copies of wills.....a copy of the actual entry in the Domesday Book about Dutton land.....lists of sources for births/deaths and other matters on record like law suits etc.......a list of the contents of one of the Dutton/Sherbourne (I believe) houses....including how many silver bowls and platters there were (!)...... a good index.....pictures of the elegant Dutton Hall door and arms carved around entryway, a picture of how the great hall at one time had a second floor and room partitions installed and many other interesting items. Having kids in college, a serious lack of discretionary funds kept me from buying the book at the time.....but I made copies of a lot of it from the LDS microfilm. So....I would say to you.....YES.....be sure to access a copy somehow. It's worth the effort. If you're like me.....and enjoy the "rest of the story" beyond all the names and dates......you'll really like this book.
