Hi Carole, The site that you listed only seems to follow the direct line of William the Conqueror. According to the lineage appendix, table 5, of "William the Conqueror", by David C. Douglas (1964, University of California Press), shows the line of the Counts of Eu. Robert, was before 1047, recognized as Compte d'Eu (Count of Eu). He fought at Hastings in 1066 with William the Conqueror, who was his nephew. He is listed as a landowner in the 1086 Domesday Book. This book lists him as dying in 1090. ("William the Conqueror", David C. Douglas, University of California Press, 1964 p.25) I show Robert as having a son named Guillaume (William) who married Helisende d'Avranches. They had sons, Odard, Edard, Wolmere, Horswyne, Wolfaith, and Nigel. This made Odard a kinsman of Hugh "Lupas" d'Avranches, Earl of Chester. Hope this helps. But here it is reported that Wm had a sister. Associated with , Herleva (Arlette), Officer of the Household Child 1: , Adeliza of Normany, Countess of Aumale, b. 1029 Child 2: , William I the Conqueror, King of England, b. 1028 In generation 18, you reported that you had not found a sibling of Wm, so I thought that I'd pass this on to you. http://www.dcs.hull.ac.uk/cgi-bin/gedlkup/n=royal?royal01525 Take care, Carole
