I couldn't agree more. *New Netherland Connections* provided valuable opportunities for authors, and promoted awareness of genealogical sources and techniques for the Dutch colonies of America. Dorothy is to be congratulated on the remarkable achievement of having single-handedly edited and produced its 15 volumes. Anyone with access to *American Ancestors* (published by NEHGS) should consult the article by Henry B. Hoff in vol. 13, no.1 (Winter 2012), pp. 52-54, entitled "*New Netherland Connections* and Researching New York Dutch Families," which highlights some of the major contributions of *NNC*, including Dorothy's own masterful 1996 article on the origins of Catalina Trico and her nephew, Arnoldus de la Grange.
