    3. Hi Liz, Re. E B O'Callaghan, The Documentary history of the state of New-York -- It was published in two different size sets of books (quarto and octavo?). Thanks to Ruth Piwonka (I think) who mentioned this on the D-C list several years ago. Both are in 4 vols.; so the smaller size books have more pages. Hence, the page number that you might see cited can be different, depending on which size books were being used. I have a CD of them that came from the smaller size books. Pam’s page 137 is correct for them. If someone were citing the bigger books, they would probably have a somewhat lower page number.
