    3. David, It really sounds to me as though you have tried all the places where, by rights, it should be. Unfortunately, a lot of documents that should be there just aren't, often the work of sticky-fingered souvenir hunters. If there was any real estate transferred by the will, you may find the will quoted in its entirety when the heir eventually releases the property, even fifty years later. I have seen this many, many times. Good luck in your hunting. I can not find HER will at all even I already indexed Queens College files (aka Albany County, NY old section) and New York County up to 1800. Her husband's will is filed with New York County and original record is in Queens College files. Any idea where her will might be? W.
