    1. [DUTCH-COLONIES] Low Dutch Repository, Harrodsburg Historical Society
    2. We are most fortunate that the Harrodsburg Historical Society has created a repository for Low Dutch books, Papers, Manuscripts, Original wills, deeds, marriage documents, Family Genealogies etc. This involves a lot of work on their part as materials have to be cataloged and processed, but the are willing and happy to do so. In the long run, this will create a large Archives of items, specific to those families who migrated from New York, New Jersey to Conewago Dutch Reformed Church area near Gettysburg in York and Adams Counties as well as Berkeley County VA, now WVA, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and west ward. Should you be interested in donating your collection or copies of important papers in your collection as well we Books etc. contact Amalie Preston % of Harrodsburg Historical Society, P. O. Box 316, Harrodsburg, KY 40330-0316 or telephone 1-859-734-5985. Believe it or not, sending books or other library materials, MEDIA MAIL, through the post office is very inexpensive. Believe it or not, I recently sent off three boxes containing about 36 books plus deeds documents etc. and I believe it only cost about $50.00 for the entire mailing. Creating this Archives will benefit researchers in the future and if something should happen to you, you will be secure in the knowledge that your relatives will not toss your valuable collection into the trash or toss their hands up at your collection and because they have no time to sort through everything, simply get rid of it.
