    3. Glad to see I'm not the ONLY one interested in Terhune research ! The ONLY thing we know for CERTAIN is that Geertje was emphatically NOT the d/o Theunis Denyse Nyssen and Femmetje Jans Seals. I am presently working on a paper that involves the earliest Terhune lines of Flatlands/Gravesend. I have a "contender" couple for Geertje's parents - but that is ALL it is - conjecture, to wit: Dirck Holgerson/Volkertsen and Christina Vigne. Geertje and Albert named one daughter Styntje born c1655. I know absolutely nothing about Dirck Holgerson/Volkertsen and Christina Vigne. and would appreciate the input of some of our fabulous D-C expenrts ...PLEASE! 3. I suspect it is Volckerson.. That would be a descendent of Maria DuTrieux and her first husband..Cornelis Volckers Viele.. They had Aernoudt born 27 May 1640. He married Gerritje Gerritse and Cornelis Viele who married a Suster?, Jacomyntje and Pieter 9 Feb 1648. I descend through Marias second Husband Jan Peek, so have no more information than this on her earlier children by Volckerson.

    3. Geertje was born about 1630-31 or so because she married Albert Albertse Terhune abt 1647. Is this too early for her to be the daughter of Dirck Holgerson/Volkertsen and Christina Vigne? I know nothing about this couple also. Boy am I a big help!
