Since I know that Abraham LOTT (@1760-1828, Orleans Co., NY) was the father of Henry LOTT (@1798-1816, Montgomery Co., NY), my next problem is to verify the parents of Abraham. I found the following info online: Parents of Abraham Lott Hendrick Lott b. 28 June 1716 in Flatbush, Kings County, NY d. abt. 22 June 1804 m. abt. 1746 Artyi (aka Katherine) Children: Ann Lott Sarah Lott Hendricka Lott Charity Lott b 30 August 1752 Peter Lott b. before 27 February 1755 Hetty Lott b. abt. 30 August 1755 Catharine Lott b. 19 February 1763 Abraham Lott b. abt 1765 Did this Hendrick leave a will? Probate record of some sort? Baptismal record for these children, or their grandchildren? Or is all of this a hopeful guess to which I can add my hopes? As presented, it sure does solve my brick wall, so my fingers are crossed. However, I need something more confirming on which to hang my hat! Many thanks for your help and advice! Liz
