Dear Cynthia, According to David Riker's 2004 Supplement to his "Directory..." this Abraham was the son of the immigrant, Pieter Engelbertszen Lot, and his possible wife, Gertrude Lamberts. Pieter, the immigrant, was born in Ruinerwold in the Drenthe Province. As mentioned before On page 451 of the "Flatbush Church Records", edited by David William Voorhees, "Abram Lot and Geertie Lot" had a child baptized on 31 October 1697. The name of the child was not recorded! The sponsors were "Piter Lot and Geertruy". If the child were named "Pieter" as some think, this identification holds up because Abram's parents would have been the godparents of the namesake grandson named for his paternal grandfather. Peter and Gertrude came in 1652. Riker doesn't say where their children were born, but they all may have been born in the New World.
