The Gemeentearchief in Amsterdam will be closed from March 31 until August 7. They are moving all 32 km of files, and everything else, into a bigger building. An announcement to this effect is posted on their website: "Op 31 maart gaat het Archief aan de Amsteldijk definitief dicht. Op 7 augustus bent u welkom in het nieuwe Stadsarchief aan de Vijzelstraat." Good luck Liz J
