Thanks Frank. I wasn't aware that Wouter married Neeltje Herperts, daughter of Herpert Claeszen and granddaughter of Claes Corneliszen Van Schouw. That seems to tie a lot together. It makes it appear the Hendrick Pieterszen who was associated with Claes Corneliszen in 1640 was in fact Hendrick Pieterszen van Wesel, aka van Duisburg or Van Tessel, who married first to Geerite Everts and then to Geertie Rutgers, probably the widow of Bryun (Bruno) Williamsz. Particularly relevant is the fact that Wouter Bruynenz was a witness at the Kingston March 21,1683 baptism of Geertje, the daughter of Bruyn Hendrickszen & Lysbeth Jans Oosterhout. Bruryn would have been the son of Wouter's step father Hendrick Pieterszen who married Geertie Rutgers, probably the widow of Bryun (Bruno) Williamsz. ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone.
