I have a reference for this and believe it is possibly the source of Seversmith's information: O'Callaghan's HIstory of New Netherlands, Vol. I, p.269 O'Callaghan wrote "Tradition says that Guleyn Vigne's wife, Ariaentje Cuvilje... and then gives the story as told by Seversmith.
