Is anyone on the list a descendant of the Steynmets or Steinmets family? I descend from Agnietje Casperse Steinmets (1629-1704), the wife of Leendert Philipse CONYN (1620-1704) of Albany, NY. I've just found (via Rootsweb's WorldConnect) a 14-generation pedigree that carries Agnietje's ancestry back to 12th Century Bavaria. I've pasted the line below. I've found nothing in the way of source information.
