And, thank you for the Budke Will which helps tie that family together. I have not found a baptismal record for Jan/John Vanderbilt, the son of Dirck Vanderbilt and Margrietje Hooglandt, but I believe he married Geertje Stevens: Margritje #1274; Birth Date: 27 Sep 1774 Bapt. Date: 23 Oct 1774; Parents: Jan Vander Bilt, Geertje Steve; Sponsors: Dirck Vander Bilt, Gritje Vander Bilt Source: Baptisms at Clarkstown Also, I believe this Margrietje married Aury/Arie Servant 12 June 1795 in Rockland County, and they had the son John mentioned in the will of Dirck Vanderbilt. Daughter Maria Vanderbilt was baptized at Wolver Hollow as follows: [NYG&BR 73:30] "Reformed Dutch Church of Wolver Hollow (Oyster Bay), Long Island" 16 Feb 1755; Marya, child of Dyrk Vanderbielt, Etye [sic] Hogelant; wit: Cornelus Hogelant & wife Sara Wortman The witnesses were the maternal grandfather, Cornelius Hooglandt, and his second wife Sarah Woertman (married by license dated 30 April 1737). I have found one child for Maria Vanderbilt and Jan Eckerson: Dirck #479; Birth Date: 29 Aug 1788; Bapt. Date: 21 Sep 1788; Parents: Jan Eckesen, Maria Vanderbilt Source: Baptisms at Clarkstown Best regards, Pam Sears
