FYI for DuBois descendants, the June newsletter of the DuBois Family Association may be of interest. It includes what looks like the first of a series of articles on the ancestry of Chretien DuBois, whom DBFA and French researchers now pegs as the son of Antoine DuBois. The DBFA's Dec. newsletter gave a bit of background. Also mentioned is new information on the Crispell and Blanchan families. I'm not involved with the DBFA or the research, but I found it an interesting read and thought other DuBois descendants might, too, given the longstanding debate over Chretien's lineage. The newsletter is at http://www.dbfa.org/newsletter8archives.htm -Jim Miller
Think I sent this to the wrong address; if not, apologies for the double post.
