    1. [DUTCH-COLONIES] Chretien DuBois ancestry
    2. Jim Miller
    3. FYI for DuBois descendants, the June newsletter of the DuBois Family Association may be of interest. It includes what looks like the first of a series of articles on the ancestry of Chretien DuBois, whom DBFA and French researchers now pegs as the son of Antoine DuBois. The DBFA's Dec. newsletter gave a bit of background. Also mentioned is new information on the Crispell and Blanchan families. I'm not involved with the DBFA or the research, but I found it an interesting read and thought other DuBois descendants might, too, given the longstanding debate over Chretien's lineage. The newsletter is at http://www.dbfa.org/newsletter8archives.htm -Jim Miller

    3. Think I sent this to the wrong address; if not, apologies for the double post.
