For those who are not aware, the merger between BC Telephone and Telus (in Alberta) last year has resulted in a number of changes, not the least of which was a change in the corporate name to TELUS. As a result, in October, @bc.sympatico.ca will cease to exist. Any subscribers using @bc.sympatico.ca should change their email addresses to @telus.net. They can do this with a single click of a link on their MyBC home page. Both addresses will work up to some time in October. As Listowner, here is what I would suggest: To avoid a lot of manual unsubscribes on the part of Listowners, anyone using the old @bc.sympatico.ca domain should unsubscribe before changing addresses to @telus.net, and then resubscribe after changing to @telus.net. If you change your address to @telus.net, then try to unsubscribe the old @bc.sympatico.ca address, it WON'T work. We Listowners will have to manually do it for you.
