I almost forgot about this list! Glad to see it active again. My Duhrmann's came from Goeritz Prussia- I don't know where before that. I'd be glad to hear from any cousins. In addition to the family below, there is another Duhrmann family which I believe is related to this one. Carl Ludwig Wilhelm "William" Durhmann (below) likely had a sister Caroline Duhrmann. She m. Wilhelm Mueller and immigrated on the ship Wm. Skee from Hamburg to Quebec in 1854. A cholera epidemic broke out and her husband died. So did the wife of another passenger, Carl Fleischfresser. Eventually Carl Fleischfresser and Caroline Mueller nee. Duhrmann married and settled in Watertown, Wisconsin. In 1870 the couple outlined below, "William" (Carl Ludwig W.) and "Caroline" Duhrmann (Emilie Caroline) nee. Boettcher, moved next door to the Fleischfressers. The only "proof" of relation between these likely siblings is that they both came from Goeritz, Prussia, had the same last name, and lived next door to each other in WI.
