<html> This is a message primarily to newbies. The past few days, many new<br> users of the 12 Lists I manage have been sending email to the incorrect<br> addresses. This means three things. One, your email does not arrive at<br> the List because error messages come directly to me. Two, you force<br> me to take the time to forward your email on to the proper List. Three,<br> I also have to compose another email back to the persons who used<br> the wrong addresses, informing them of the correct address. Folks,<br> I am just about to the point where I don't have time for all the dozens<br> of extra emails this generates each day. And please, no smart remarks<br> about "how I should get rid of some of the Lists if I don't have time to run<br> them". Every time I complain of extra work caused by users who don't<br> take the time to do things correctly, some smart Alec sends me an<br> email advising the above.<br> <br> I started these Lists (except for AYLOR), have nursed them for several<br> years now, and am not about to give them up just because inconsiderate<br> users cause extra work. I foot the bill for these Lists, from contributions<br> to RootsWeb, to hardware and software and server costs.<br> <br> I know it is confusing, having to use one address for subscribing, then<br> using another in order to paste mail; however, if everyone were to read<br> the Welcome Letter, there would be no problems. The correct address<br> for posting is at the very top of the Welcome Letter.<br> <br> Here is the problem: The address for subscribing contains "-request".<br> New users send to that address, then when notified they have been<br> subscribed, immediately start posting, using that same address. Most<br> don't even take time to read the Welcome Letter; it just gets deleted.<br> <br> Here are examples of the address for subscribing and UNSUBSCRIBING,<br> and the address for posting email to the Lists. Just substitute the cor-<br> rect identifier for the List you want where you see NAME below:<br> <br> To Sub and Unsub:<br> NAME-L-request@rootsweb.com<br> <br> To post email:<br> NAME-L@rootsweb.com<br> <br> See the difference? "-request" means just what it says; it is a request<br> for something, in this case to be subscribed or unsubscribed.<br> <br> Where it says NAME in the lines above, just substitute the proper<br> identifier. The identifiers for the Lists I run are: AYLOR, BROYLES,<br> CFT-WIN, CULLOP, DURMAN, GAROUTTE, <font size=2>LOVETTE, WILHITE,<br> WILKINSON, SURNAME-QUERY, and GERMANNA_COLONIES.<br> <br> If there are ANY questions or comments, they do not belong here on this<br> List. Send them to me personally. My email address is in the FROM: line<br> in the headers above.<br> <br> SgtGeorge<br> Listowner<br> <br> </font></html>
Most of this week, RootsWeb was either not receiving nor sending List email; during some periods some mail was being sent out, but in trickles. This is to let you users know what happened. A SPAMMER HIT US AGAIN! It really angers me that we have been injured once again by a SPAMMER. When these Lists were on MAISER at Indiana Univ., a SPAMMER crashed that system completely. It even caused some hardware to burn out. These opportunistic advertisers just don't realize the damage they do when they SPAM mailing lists. RootsWeb has over 4200 Lists now, and I would guess that the average subscriber list is around 500. That means that when the SPAMMER sends in the ads, the server receives 4200 identical emails all at the same time. Then, the server has to try to send out over 2 million emails, all at the same time. Now THAT is normally enough to shut down a server; however, it is even worse at RootsWeb, since SPAM-filters are in place. Those emails hit the server, the server attempted to kill them, then, because of the sheer computing power required, everything shut down. Once again we have not had access to normal mail because of the selfish actions of unscrupulous advertisers. Congress tried to rectify this problem, but special interest lobbyists go to enough of our repre- sentatives that they caved in and passed a bill that does nothing. I suggest that when you receive SPAM, send it back to the servers involved. Send to postmaster@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx, where the x's are replaced by the name of the server the SPAMMER is using. Make sure you "expand" the headers, then highlight and copy the entire message, including these expanded headers. THEN, make sure that you NEVER purchase anything from a company that engages in this practice. Sooner or later advertisers are going to learn that if they SPAM genealogy groups, they are doing nothing but angering users and hurting the reputations of their companies. Any discussion of this subject should be done privately to me, not back to the List. Thanks, SgtGeorge Listowner
Here is your periodic update on what is going on at RootsWeb. As Listowner, I feel it my duty to report these statistics to users of the Lists I manage, and which are hosted by Rootsweb. Below is the monthly update by Brian Leverich one of the founders of RootsWeb. PLEASE look at the figures and try to imagine that much genealogy email traffic!!!!! And, it doesn't cost users (subscribers) a dime! We Listowners do have to pay a modest fee to have our Lists, but other than this small requirement of us, ALL other funds for operat- ing expenses comes either from voluntary contributions from users, or out of Brian's and Karen's pockets. Look through all the figures and pay particular attention to the part near the end on how you, as a user, can contribute to the world's best genealogy service. A dime a day (that's 10¢) would cost you only $36.50 a year; a nickle a day would cost you only $18.25 a year. Heck, even a penny a day would cost you only $3.65 a year. I figure that I have something like 5,000 subscribers to my 12 Lists (some of them have very few users), and if each of you could spare $3.65 a year, that would amount to $18,250.00 per year for RootsWeb. A penny a day doesn't seem like much, but $18,250.00 would go a long way in helping support RootsWeb. BTW, this fiscal year, Brian and Karen figure they are going to run about $56,000 in the red. Guess where that money is going to come from? Not from us! From their pockets! One other thing, the server IS secure and you don't have to worry about using your credit card over the Web/Internet when dealing with RootsWeb. I've done it for a long time and have never had a problem. **********(Start of Brian's Monthly Statistics Update)********** In July, RootsWeb experienced one of its largest single-month increases in load with folks using many of our services 25-33% more than in June. We're not quite sure why that happened, but we speculate it's because we've been adding new features and upgrading our servers as fast as contributions allow. We also suspect that the new RootsWeb Review e-zine may be helping folks find new parts of RootsWeb. Here are the detailed statistics on our July operations: o 2,975 independently-Webmastered Websites are hosted by RootsWeb. o 50,245,222 total Web hits: - 13,608,736 were HTML pages. - 6,879,675 were cgi-bin database searches and such. - 29,568,584 were graphics (gifs, jpegs, etc). o 995,249 FTP file downloads from the USGenWeb Archives and the ROOTS-L Library. o 3,967 independently-listowned mailing lists are hosted by RootsWeb. o Thanks to a neat hack by Tim Pierce, we know we shipped 99,934,614 pieces of e-mail to our mailing lists. o 60,000 alt.g and s.g.* Usenet News articles to hosts on three continents. o Approximately 830,304,000,000 bytes in total. As always, RootsWeb remains supported by user contributions. Folks who would like to become a RootsWeb Member or Sponsor (the cost is very modest) are invited to visit: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/how-to-subscribe.html *** You can become a Member easily using your credit card and our new secure server. *** Support from the Internet genealogical community is *crucial* to RootsWeb's operation. Right now, we could be hosting many more Websites and mailing lists as well as providing many further services to the community, if only we had the resources to do so. Also, we would like to publicly thank Palladium Interactive, publishers of the superb Ultimate Family Tree software, for their support of RootsWeb: http://www.palladium.net/ Thanks to everyone who participates in RootsWeb -- clearly folks are continuing to exchanging a great deal of information! -B -- Dr. Brian Leverich Co-moderator, soc.genealogy.methods/GENMTD-L RootsWeb Genealogical Data Cooperative http://www.rootsweb.com/ P.O. I have volunteered to help Ann CONAWAY find someone who can look at some photographs and give advice on the time periods of the pictures. In order to help her out, I have scanned the photos she sent me and have placed them on a web page so anyone who thinks they might be able to help can see them. If we have any "time period" or "costume" experts out there, would you mind having a look and see if you can help. The URL for the web site is: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~george/annconaway.html Ann's email address is: cconaway@infohwy.com The photos were found in an album belonging to Flossie CRAIG LAND, who was Ann's aunt. Flossie lived from 1880 to 1921 and her mother's name was Margaret Elizabeth THOMAS CRAIG ADAM. Margaret lived from 1861 to 1924. Flossie's father was Samuel T. CRAIG, and he lived from 1847 to 1886. The people in the photos may have been family, in-laws, or just friends. The album had been stored away in a trunk for decades and had been forgotten about until Ann started her genealogy research. What Ann is hoping for is for some user who is knowledgeable about costume design and can tell her approximately WHEN the pictures were made. This will give her a start in identifying the time period. She needs to find out approximately which decade of the 1800's or 1900's each picture was made. She says that for someone to actually recognize any of them would be a miracle. The photos are of people from Estill, Mercer, and Madison Counties, KY, and their names could have been LAND, CRAIG, THOMAS, or ADAMS. They might even be from Butler County, OH, or Kiowa County, OK. Some of the pictures are in frames with the name of the photography shops where they were made: Grossman (name of shop), 12 North Main St., Dayton, OH H.C. Burton (name of shop), Chestnut St., Berea, KY Sorry for bothering all of you, but I just figured this is what genealogy mailing lists are all about -- helping others. If you have any comments to make about this posting, please do not send it back to the List -- send me a private email. SgtGeorge Listowner

Just a "little" prod (nudge) here to remind all of you users that RootsWeb stays in business ONLY due to contributions/subscriptions by users. I KNOW! You probably get tired of hearing the same old song and dance routine every 6-8 weeks; however, keep in mind that we users get to use the fantastic services of RootsWeb FREE !!!!! It doesn't cost a user one red cent to subscribe to as many Lists as he/she desires. But, someone has to "pay the piper". Brian and Karen, the "owners" of RootsWeb shell out megabucks from their pockets, just for the privilege of providing a place for us to discuss genealogy. Over 95% of the costs of maintaining the servers comes from direct contributions. If you feel a little generous, you might consider logging on to the RootsWeb site and finding out about what you, as a thankful user, can do to help. Here is the URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/how-to-subscribe.html If you can't afford the minimum contribution, just send RootsWeb what- ever you can afford right now. Any and all contributions are appreciated. Let me tell you that the "donations" that we Listowners pay for the "privilege" of hosting these Mailing Lists are only a drop in the bucket when it comes to the actual costs of running RootsWeb. If there is anyone out there who has "hit the lottery" lately, how about a million or two? (VERY BIG GRIN) If you can afford $2 per month, then $24 per year shouldn't bother most of you that much. To paraphrase Brian, I see message after message where users talk about all the programs they use, programs that are very expensive to register. If we would just take a step back and look at what we spend on software for our "hobby", I think we would see that out of the hundreds of dollars we shell out each year for these programs, we could put a little aside for RootsWeb. After all, if it weren't for RootsWeb, we wouldn't need all those expensive software programs. PLEASE, don't send any "flames" about this message back to the Lists. If you MUST criticize or disagree, send to me privately. My email address is in the FROM: line at the beginning of this email. Regards, SgtGeorge Listowner
I hate to "beat a dead horse", but, once again, let me say that you CANNOT unsubscribe from a List, by REPLYING to an email posted to that List. When you do, the Subject: line is "RE: Whatever was the Subject of the Email to Which You are Replying." The software at RootsWeb, will NOT act on such a request as "unsubscribe", if the subject line starts with RE: This nagging matter does not pertain to all the Lists which I manage, but just thought I would send it out to all of them, so users would know, in the future, how to unsubscribe. To unsubscribe, the user MUST send a NEW message to the List!!!!! Please read the Welcome Message -- it tells how to unsubscribe. It pertains, in particular, to SURNAME-QUERY and RESEARCH-HOWTO. Regards, SgtGeorge Listowner

My father has a portrait of this guy --- quite dashing... family lore says he was a blacksmith and a "carouser" He is the son of M C (Mac Dorman no dates, and Nannie Stanton -- no dates) I would be interested in anyone who is researching Dorman's in the upper counties of SC and south central area of NC... I believe they migrated down from Va and Maryland pre-revolutionary war..... Thanks Carol Dorman

They were found in Sumter Co GA 1840 & 1850 census, Colquitt Co GA in 1860 and Echols Co GA in 1870. They were in Hamilton FL by 1880 census. Anyone researching this family or connected Dorman families? Several other DORMAN's were found in GA during the 1800's. Carmelita WLWMEGAWAT@aol.com
I have found my ancestry back to my gggg-grandfather in Marion Co., VA. John & Nancy DURMAN are listed as the parents of my ggg-grandfather, Thomas A. DURMAN. John would have been born in the late 1700's, but I have found no trace of him anywhere in the archives of VA. The only possible link I have found is the following: "James DURMAN is listed in the Trafalgar Roll, 21 October 1805, as having arrived on the ship "Spartiate". His rank is listed as Private RM (Royal Marines)." Where could I search for information on the "Trafalgar Roll, the ship "Spartiate", and the Royal Marines of this time period? I have never found another mention of James and wonder if he returned to England with the ship. Any help appreciated, George W. Durman
RootsWeb has finished the work on the search engines for the server site. You can search the USGenWeb Archives by going to this URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ussearch.htm You can search the Archives of any Mailing List at RootsWeb by going to this URL: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl Searching the Mailing Lists allows you to search any Mailing List, EXCEPT those that have been withdrawn by the Listowner(s). Folks interested in helping RootsWeb provide new facilities can become new members by using the Web Form at: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/how-to-subscribe.html Most of you, especially new users, will be interested in searching back issues of Archives for specific Surnames, Geographical Data, etc. Just go to the appropriate URL and navigate from there to the List you wish to search for specific information. Let me know if you have any problems. SgtGeorge Listowner
Just to keep you updated, here is an email from Tim Pierce, one of the "gurus" at RootsWeb. Please read ALL of his post. I know it's long, but there's lots of stuff in his message. I DO take exception to some of Palladium's claims, especially the one about "the only genealogical software that can be used by novices but provides all the capabilities that experienced genealogists need". That's pure "hogwash"! There are many genealogy programs on the market that can be used by "novices" AND that can provide all the capabilities that "experienced" genealogists need. I had lots more to say about this "joint venture", but decided I didn't need to get into trouble with the folks at RootsWeb, so deleted the arguments. All of you are smart enough to see this for what it is. Regards, SgtGeorge Listowner Hi, Folks -- I think a few apologies are in order. The situation with the Palladium sponsorship has been very tricky. Palladium wanted to keep the partnership a surprise until they could make a formal announcement at this week's NGS conference. So Brian was under a non-disclosure agreement to keep it under wraps until almost the very last minute. He *couldn't* tell anyone. Before he left for Denver, Brian asked me to announce the sponsorship to listowners@rootsweb, so that the listowners wouldn't be kept out of the loop. Well, you probably noticed I didn't do that. Between setting up the Palladium banners, blocking attempted spam attacks, and nursing sick listservers back to health, I just forgot that you all had to be notified. So it's my fault that the listowners got taken by surprise. I'm awfully sorry about that -- as someone observed, I'm a hacker, not a communications director. Keeping *people* informed isn't my specialty. :-) So, down to the nitty gritty: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO ROOTSWEB LISTOWNERS? ------------------------------------------- Here's the letter from Brian that I should have posted to listowners on the day of the announcement. This is a good summary of the meaning of the sponsorship and its immediate impact on listowners. Dear RootsWeb Community, On 1 April 1998, Palladium Interactive reinforced the contributions of thousands of individual genealogists by becoming the sole commercial sponsor of the oldest and largest Internet genealogical resource: the RootsWeb Genealogical Data Cooperative. An *extremely* important aspect of the sponsorship is that Palladium's commitment to RootsWeb goes far beyond simple financial support: Palladium and RootsWeb will work together to develop an exciting new generation of tools linking individual genealogists' lineage databases to the myriad data resources on the Internet. Palladium Interactive is the creator of the Ultimate Family Tree software for genealogists, the only genealogical software that can be used by novices but provides all the capabilities that experienced genealogists need. UFT itself has a distinguished lineage, being descended the widely-acclaimed Roots III and Roots IV software packages that defined professional-grade genealogical software more than a decade ago. Rootsweb also traces its origins back more than a decade to the founding of the ROOTS-L mailing list and the Roots Surname List query system. Now with more than 300,000 users, RootsWeb currently hosts more than 2,500 genealogical Websites and more than 3,100 mailing lists dedicated to surname and locality research. The hosted Websites include: * the Roots Surname List, which now includes 404,000 submissions from 55,000 genealogists * 40 of the 50 USGenWeb state pages and a large majority of the 3,100 county pages * the USGenWebArchives with hundreds of megabytes of searchable data * and hundreds of other resources Besides ROOTS-L, RootsWeb also hosts 3,100+ other mailing lists dedicated to the discussion of specific surnames, ethnic groups, and geographic localities. RootsWeb's Web servers handle 1,000,000+ Web "hits" each day, and RootsWeb's list servers allow genealogists to exchange 3,000,000+ pieces of e-mail each day. While RootsWeb has historically been supported by thousands of individual contributors and while individual contributions will remain RootsWeb's mainstay, Palladium's contribution provides RootsWeb with the ability to substantially increase the range of resources freely available to Internet genealogists. For example, the first two months of Palladium's sponsorship have allowed us to add: * A new search engine server, which has immediately made the equivalent of 500,000 new pages of data searchable by Internet genealogists and which will allow us to upload another 4,000,000 pages in the near future. * A new high-capacity router, that will increase from 2,000 to 5,000 the number of genealogists who can simultaneously be use RootsWeb. * A new mailing list archive server, which will enable genealogists to conveniently scan the archived posts of our 3,100 mailing using their Web browsers. In addition to the immediate, tangible benefits of Palladium's sponsorship, RootsWeb believes that the joint Palladium-RootsWeb software development projects will provide much, much greater benefits to the genealogical community. Over time we expect to see the seamless integration of Ultimate Family Tree with the burgeoning genealogical resources on the Internet, allowing even novice users to easily find Internet Websites, mailing lists, and databases where they can extend and refine their understanding of their family's history. On behalf of the million members of the Internet genealogical community, RootsWeb thanks Palladium for their contributions to the near-term needs and long-term advancement of our community. Sincerely, Dr. Brian Leverich So there's the official story. As to some of the concerns that have begun to float around: WILL MANDATORY FEES BE IMPOSED ON LIST SUBSCRIBERS? --------------------------------------------------- No. RootsWeb is free: it is a resource provided free of charge to the general genealogical community. Period. Some people have expressed worry about the phrase ``services at minimal cost'' in Brian's letter. Minimal means zero: we will not charge across-the-board fees to subscribe to mailing lists or run archive searches. The reason that for emphasizing ``minimal cost'' rather than ``no cost'' is to remind people that running RootsWeb does cost real money, and we want to encourage as many people as possible to become RootsWeb Members and Sponsors. DOES THIS MEAN THAT UFT OWNS MY MAILING LIST OR MY DATA? -------------------------------------------------------- No. Absolutely not. Palladium's sponsorship has *no* effect whatever on RootsWeb's relationship with the listowners or list subscribers. The terms of the sponsorship are limited to underwriting the cost of RootsWeb operating expenses, and funding new research projects. There is no way that RootsWeb would enter into a commercial partnership that would involve taking away your rights as genealogists, listowners and RootsWeb sponsors. RootsWeb's chief source of funding is still from individual subscriptions. That's how Brian and Karen prefer things: it means keeping people our highest priority, and it's the best way to avoid compromising your interests in favor of some nameless corporate machine. The goal here is to augment our main financial support with a healthy partnership to produce some really powerful genealogical tools. Regards, Tim Pierce RootsWeb Genealogical Data Cooperative volunteer sysadmin and general hacker
Following is a press release by Palladium Interactive. We Listowners were not informed of this beforehand and only learned of it by seeing the press release. RootsWeb is getting some necessary financial support, although I, as a Listowner, am a little concerned over the fact that Palladium's software programs will be the only ones that are built to directly connect with RootsWeb and the files there. This could certainly give them a great advantage in the market for genealogy programs, since many RootsWeb users may be tempted to buy or switch to Palladium's programs. Not saying it's good or bad, just making a comment. If you wish more information on this subject, go to the following URL and click on the upper left corner. SgtGeorge Listowner ************************************************** ULTIMATE FAMILY TREE PRESS RELEASE PALLADIUM SUPPORTS ROOTSWEB GENEALOGICAL DATA COOPERATIVE (DENVER, CO) May 5, 1998, National Genealogy Society Conference - In a move that will support and enhance the efforts of thousands of genealogists worldwide, Palladium Interactive has become the sole commercial sponsor of the oldest and largest Internet genealogical resource, the RootsWeb Genealogical Data Cooperative, the company announced today. With more than 300,000 users, RootsWeb currently hosts more than 3,000 genealogy-related homepages on its site, and their daily web traffic exceeds 1,000,000. Palladium will build an Internet "spider" and search tool specifically for genealogists, with design and programming assistance from RootsWeb. Palladium will also integrate tools into its genealogy products that give users easy access to RootsWeb web sites and other related subject matter. "We're proud to have the opportunity to sponsor RootsWeb, and become part of a data cooperative that is held in such high regard within the genealogy community," said Ed Bernstein, president and chief executive officer of Palladium Interactive. Some of you have been confused by my last email. If you are currently a subscriber, you need do nothing to continue. Everything will be just as it was before for any- one already subscribed. The difference is, if you get automatically dropped by the "robot" at RootsWeb after the requisite "bounces" when your server is having problems, or if your mailbox gets full, you will then have to re-subscribe. At that point, the "robot" at RootsWeb will no longer subscribe you as before. Instead, the email will be forwarded to me for my action. Then, I will manually re-subscribe, or subscribe a new user, after checking to see if the address is on the "good" list or on the "bad" list. (GRIN) Yes, I do keep such lists. It became necessary in order to remove and keep removed some trouble makers on various Lists. You will continue to use the same address for sending email and the same address for subbing or unsubbing that was used before. Now, there is one thing you should be concerned about. If you use a server that is constantly having problems and you keep getting unsubbed and having to resub, I "might" have you on a "bad" list. This is no great problem -- all you have to do in such a case is send me a private email (given below), explaining what the problem was and whether it is fixed or not. Let me state right now that the only server I have had problems with lately is WebTV.Net. Phillips, Magnavox, and the other companies involved in the WebTV Net should have to receive, edit, and answer one million emails a day to atone for their poor organi- zation. I don't mean to start a "flame" thread, so DON'T any of you answer this part on the Lists. It's just that if you do use this service, you may keep getting automatically unsubbed by the software at RootsWeb and after several such unsubs, I might put you on the "bad" list. (Again, GRIN) Just be careful not to let your mailbox fill up, no matter which server you use. Those full mailboxes are really annoying. To recap, you DO NOT have to do anything to stay on the List(s) to which you subscribe. The only difference you will notice is that you will not see all those shameless ads for real estate, sex, etc., etc. That SHOULD be to the liking of all of you. So, now let's get on with our genealogy searches without all the distractions of nudnik advertisers. Enjoy. SgtGeorge
Dear subscribers of the Lists I manage at RootsWeb: I have put it off as long as I could! Henceforth, all the 11 Lists that I manage at RootsWeb will be "closed". What this means is that, instead of being automatically subscribed to a List by sending an email to RootsWeb, a new user's email will be sent to me, the Listowner, and he/she will not be added as a subscriber until I manually add him/her. Also, NO ONE will be allowed to post to any of the Lists I manage unless he/she is a Subscriber. This will cut out ALL SPAM, all obnoxious users that I have on my reject list, etc. Of course, there will be some who slip through and post trash messages, but after the first one, that person will be manually subscribed and never let back on again, at least using the same email address. If he/she changes email addresses there is nothing I can do until he/she again posts something unsuitable. I'm sorry, but the amount of unsolicited SPAM, both commercial and sex-oriented, has reached the point where I MUST do this! >From now on (as soon as I unsub all guilty parties) there will be NO "sex-ads", no real estate ads, no "multi-level marketing" ads (read that pyramid schemes), nor any other off-topic subject from mass emailers. I hope you all agree with this. If you do NOT, please DO NOT answer here on the List. Send me private email to my personal email address and I WILL answer you. Your List Administrator, SgtGeorge

I started the List in an effort to find my own ancestors and we on the List always welcome new subscribers. Please post your email, letting us know your ancestry and how far back you have been able to research. I've traced mine back as far as my great-great-great-grand- father, John DURMAN, in Smyth County, VA, in the late 1700's. Have been at a dead end there for several years. Looking forward to hearing from our new subscriber. SgtGeorge (George W. Durman) DURMAN List Administrator
If anyone knows of any Dormans in Marlowm or Stephens County, in the 20's or 30's, especially anyone related to a Frank Dorman from those parts please e-mail me. bartd@ix.netcom.com thanx

It has something to do with the Digests, RootsWeb, Your ISP, and Your Email Browser. There's something there somewhere that is causing the colors due to incompatibilities. It's being worked on and hopefully will be "fixed" soon. In the meantime, you can always unsubscribe to the Digest Mode and re-subscribe to the Normal Mode, which gives you each message individually, rather than all together in a Digest.
