His brother, Thomas Joseph Durkin (born 1885 in Niagara) married Berniece Josephine McMillan (born 1902 in Derby, New York) on June 23, 1921 in Welland. I found this information in Ontario, Canada Marriages, 1857-1922. After being both widowed, William and Berniece later married and had a son Robert ( I have a pic of William and Robert dated 1943 and Robert appears to be approx. 3 to 5 years of age).
