Pat, Do you have any further information on Mary Ann FARRELL and Joseph Martin DURKIN? I ask because the name of their first child, Ambrose, interested me. I have a line of FARRELLS in England in the 19th c. who named some of their boys Ambrose - and in the 1881 census there were only 2 Ambrose FARRELLs in the whole of GB. One of them is ours. I wondered, with the name being so rare, whether there was any connection between our families?
