Ward being maiden name struck me as maybe something here for Ward to be ladies middle name.My Mary was married to an Edward Philbin, they had 2 children we knew of Ewdard and Myles/ Miles. Can't find a trace of Edward and Mary, just a long shot hope,why would Ward be a lady's middle init.
