THE WILKES-BARRE RECORD Monday, July 13 1903 DEATH AT SUGAR NOTCH Mrs. Julia Durkin, wife of William Durkin of Oak Street, Sugar Notch died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning of pleurisy, aged 45 years. Diseased is survived by her husband and the following children: Mary, Celia, Thomas, Margaret, Anthony, Edward, William and Patrick. The funeral will be held to-morrow with a requiem at St. Charles Church at 9 o'clock, and interment in Sugar Notch cemetery. Thursday, July 16 1903 SUGAR NOTCH The funeral of Mrs. William Durkin took place on Tuesday. High mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev. J. H. Judge. The floral tributes were beautiful. The pall bearers were: Andrew Lenahan, of Pittston, James Corrigan, Patrick McGuire, John O'Donnell, Phillip Duffy of this place and Patrick Lenahan of Ashley. Patrick Lenahan was flower bearer.
