Hi, I too am working on the Durkin (Durcan) families and have found my greatgrandparents listed on a microfiche in the Mormon library and coming from Tubbercurry; however, the records are listed in the parish of Kilmacteige, county Sligo. The name has several spellings such as Durkan and Durcan. My greatgrandfather Thomas married Hanora May in January 1856 in Kilmacteige parish and probably lived in Tubbercurry a short distance away.
