I believe he was born in 1844. Not sure if it was Here in NY or Ireland. He married Anna Mcguire 5/ 28'1884. Anna was born in 1859 in Ireland. John died in Syracuse 12/2/1923 aqnd Anna died in Syracuse in 1934.There are many John Devoys ,including my father who turns 90 on May 5th. I am not having much luck pinning my John down.
