    1. Re: [DURKIN] Re: Philadelphia Durkins
    2. My Durkin family is from Philadelphia area, originally from Sligo. Four brothers (Thomas, WIlliam, James, John) born in or around Philly between 1915-1920, to Thomas and Margaret (nee Kelley). Thomas was born in PA (I believe), Possibly in Philly area, but more likely upstate in PA coal region/Wilkes Barre PA? I've seen Durkins listed in print among the Molly Maguires of coal country. Thomas was born around 1870 and died in Philly in 1958. I have heard that he is one of five, (all or mostly boys?). I have just started to collect some of this info, so feel free to contact me directly for more. If you have helpful info, please contact also. Regards, Joe Durkin >From: jrhewitt@mcsi.net (James R.
