The father of the family was Thomas Durkin (sometimes spelled Durcan and Durkane on old records). Thomas died on June 19, 1870 and his death is recorded on Foxford Civil Death registry. The brothers, John Thomas and Michael J. married two sisters, Alice and Mary T. Rowan. Sometimes Rowan is spelled as Ruane. Michael and Mary lived in England and apparently were the first of the family to come to the USA. I hope this is helpful and you may know more.
