You might find these sites useful - leitrim-roscommon.ie Scroll down to 1901 Census, Townland = cuilmore, Parish = kilconduff, Barony = Gallen, County = Mayo, Head of household = durkan. Also EastMayo.org, scroll down to Kilconduff marriages. Not an easy site to use but I did find valuable info on it. We possibly do have connection but I haven't found it yet !. My GF John Durkan born in Culmore in 1887 was in either US or Canadian Army or maybe Navy before returning to Ireland & marrying in 1920, he died in Ireland 1955/6.His sister Bridget may have been in US but also married in Ireland. His sister Margaret married in Philadelphia/Pittsburg and remained in US. On the other side of family GF's brother also Durkan lived in North Braddock, Allegheny 1n 1930's. So maybe they at least moved in same circles !!. Regards. Ann Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
