I also believe they had a daughter, Annie, who died as a young woman. This Durkin family lived in Bethlehem, but I believe he was from the coal regions and may have had a brother, Thomas. Their children were all born in Ireland, but the family settled in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Children were: Mary (8/15/1857) who married a Kennedy; John Thomas (7/31/1861) who married Alice Rowan (Ruane); Michael who married Alice's sister, Mary; Margret (8/15/1864) who married Walter Reiser. Thomas Durkin may be the brother of James Durkin who married another Durkin, Brigit. I'm trying to find out who Thomas Durkin's parents were.
