My wife's great grandfather was Patrick Durkin from County Roscommon Ireland. He married Mary Hart from County Sligo in 1852 in Brooklyn NY. They settled in Cascade Iowa where they raised 6 children. Both are buried in St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in Cascade. Don

Also living in the same residence is Charles F. and George A. Eichhorn. This was the old 151 Detroit Avenue address. George A. was Bertha's father. She married James Durkin. George married Mary Schroeder. George's father was Michael Eichhorn who married Barbara Heinz. George was born in Germany 22 Nov 1840. He died 13 Jan 1910. He is buried in West Park Cemetery, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.
