Durkin and her two sons, James (Jimmy) and Joseph (Joe). They lived on a farm in an area known as Fishing Creek in the township of Short Creek. Neither of the boys married, Jimmy was born circa 1879 and Joe circa 1885, both in Kentucky and Maggie and her husband were born in Ireland according to the 1930 census. I would like to find out Maggie's husband's first name and Maggie's maiden name. I believe her maiden name was Conroy, but not sure. The 1930 census shows the two boys on the farm, but no parents. I know that one of the boys died in the 1930's on the farm and the other in a rest home in Covington, where my Grandmother visited him. Any info would be greatly appreciated as family members have been trying to figure out Maggie's connection to my Grandmother, Helen Marie Shawback Jacobs.

James DURKIN born to Sarah GIBBONS and James DURKIN September 26, 1886 supoposedly in Westport. Sarah was the daughter of Patrick and Honora O"BOYLE. from the Islandeady area.

I only know the name of my ggm. She was having babies baptized between 1861 and 1871 in Kiltimagh parish. Children: Mary, Michael, Delia, Margaret, Ellen and Honora. Michael and Delia emigrated about 1883 to St. Louis where they settled, married and raised families. My gf (Michael Clarke) was born about 1858 and Ellen had died by 1893.
