Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hBU.2ACEB/344.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi June! Thanks for the reply. Catherine & Anthony Durkin were my grandmother's siblings - the only 2 who did not come to the US. There was no Michael in the family, so your grandfather would not be their brother. However, it is very possible that your Durkins are related to mine one generation back from that. And I know that there were other Durkins here in Chicago that were probably cousins of my grandmother. I did find some records of a Catherine and an Anthony Durkin in England during the right years, although the names were not unique. The records that I thought most likely to be for my Durkins were from Durham County! There seems to have been a group of the Durkin family who lived in that area - perhaps related. I'll be sending you an email with more information so see if we can connect. Cheers. Barbara
