I am looking for my grand aunt Martha LOWE (nee COPELAND) who was always known by family members as Aunt Pat. She was born 25 Jun 1877 at 40 Peebles Street in Newton-on-Ayr, AYR, SCT, d/o Joseph Copeland and Elizabeth McClymont. In 1897 she married James Carrington LOWE at Bugsworth(?,) DBY, ENG. He had been born in 1878 in Bugsworth, DBY, ENG s/o Isaac Lowe and Jane Carrington. Their three children Leonard, Harry and Joseph were all born in the Bugsworth area. According to family, there was also a girl Lizzie/Elizabeth about the same age who was known as Lizzie LOWE. Lizzie would have been a niece of Martha who came to stay after her parent(s) died The family probably shifted to the Newcastle upon Tyne area as I am fairly certain that I have found both James's death entry September Qtr 1963 and Martha's death entry in June Qtr 1961 in Newcastle upon Tyne.
