Thirlwell photographers are quite well known (in that era). where the photographers was situated in Stockton was known as Thirlwell's Corner as the photographers was situated on or near a corner.I have lots of old family photo's taken by Thirlwells. My gran use to call it Thirlwell's corner and people from her era also did . sue
